Having worked within Private Healthcare for over two decades, predominantly in Aesthetics, Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery I’ve seen many changes within the sector, not only new trends, product launches (and fads!) but huge technological and regulatory advancements.

In  my opinion, we often witness under-skilled non clinical practitioners performing treatments designed for operating theatres often being completed in nonclinical settings. This can compromise outcomes , results, patient experience and most importantly patient safety. There are countless examples of this in the press both yesteryear and today.

This casts a shadow over our great industry. This is a frustration for the vast majority of regulated clinics, hospitals, experienced skilled clinicians  who champion safe techniques in safe environments; never compromising patient care.

During my career I have had the privilege to work with some of the worlds most elite consultant plastic surgeons, dermatologists, key opinion leaders on aesthetics, manufacturers of the safest, most effective equipment and also talented team members across all areas of clinic and operational management and patient coordination. 

I have had the pleasure of recruiting, training and mentoring some of the most talented professionals in our industry that still work in the sector today, in careers that have blossomed and bloomed with many still working in senior leadership roles; still supporting doctors and caring for patients.
